"Building reliable digital products across software, data, and hardware."
My Story
Before moving into software engineering, I spent years running businesses in operations-heavy environments. Managing people, logistics, suppliers, schedules, and cash flow taught me how to make decisions under pressure and stay accountable for outcomes.
During the pandemic, I made a deliberate career change into technology. I studied through 42 Lisbon and the Bytes4Future bootcamp, where I moved from fundamentals to building full-stack applications with JavaScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB in a fast, hands-on environment.
At LinkThings, I worked on authentication flows, database design, complex migrations, and internationalisation across multiple platforms. That experience gave me a strong foundation in product development, backend structure, and cross-functional delivery.
At PwC Portugal and Luxembourg, I focused on application performance, API-driven processes, and operational reliability. My work included improving serializers and views, reducing payload size, accelerating response times, and implementing monitoring for critical business flows.
Today, I work across the stack with tools such as Django, Nuxt, Vue, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, and observability platforms. I am especially motivated by projects that combine clear business value with sound engineering, whether that means improving a platform, building a multilingual product, or integrating hardware into a usable system.
What distinguishes me is not only the ability to write code, but also the perspective of someone who has managed teams, owned businesses, and changed careers with intent. I build with technical discipline, commercial awareness, and a strong bias toward practical results.

What Drives Me
Problem Solving
I enjoy working through problems methodically, especially when the real issue sits beneath the obvious symptom.
Security Mindset
I value secure defaults, controlled access, and systems that remain dependable under real-world use.
Hardware and IoT
I like connecting software with the physical world, from sensor integration to lightweight infrastructure running on embedded devices.
Full-Stack Engineering
I am comfortable moving between backend logic, databases, APIs, frontend delivery, deployment, and operational tooling.
Internationalisation
I care about building products that work well across languages, regions, and different types of users.
